Bolivia Missions

Four years ago three members of Hopewell began planning a mission trip to Bolivia, South America with Lamar Tribble.  Lamar served as a church planter for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for over twenty years in South America. That one trip has turned into a passion for many members at Hopewell.

Bolivia has provided our church the opportunity to carry the Gospel of Christ beyond the boundaries of Union County. Through many hours of work and preparation, our congregation has helped lead hundreds of people to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have had the opportunity to build a church in Guitierrez, a school at the orphanage in Imbochi, a partnership with Alpha & Omega, a church in Camiri and most recently team up with Ambassadors for Christ, a team of young Bolivian Christians who go to all parts of Bolivia witnessing through skits, puppets and song to win the lost to the Lord.

We look forward to how God will continue to use the members of HBC as we continue to reach beyond our walls to South America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
