Missions

Two times in Scripture, Jesus makes it very clear that we are to carry the good news of His salvation for mankind into the world.  

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Again in Acts 1:8, Jesus gives us a mission to carry the good news of His salvation not only to our close family and friends, but also to the entire world.  He said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” 

Evangelism plays a major role in who we are as a church.  It is our goal and desire to carry the love of God to Union County, Cabarrus County, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, The United States, and the ends of the earth. 

Currently we are involved in missions in a number of countries and various areas of life at home.  As we strive to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, we pray that God would expand our mission fields and allow us to reach far more people for the glory of God.
